Every term when I come up to tell the students of my lecture ("eTeaching skills") a bit about instructional design theories and models I again and again start to look up various databases hoping to find some good examples for learning objects, eLearning courses etc. that are designed following a specific instructional model. E.g.:
- self study material based on Merrills Instructional Transaction Theory (ITT)
- an online seminar following a cognitive apprenticeship approach
- self study material designed following Schank's theory of " failure based learning "
- ...
