The party before the opening
So the party began on Thursday evening, before the official opening Saturday, with a perfect rainbow on the car park opposite. The view is not pretty, but it was the rainbow. Shortly before I discovered in our garden a dead Meise and considered it a bad omen, the rainbow was like everything out again.
The party began on Thursday evening before Thus the official opening on Saturday: With a perfect rainbow over the parking lot opposite the shop. The view to the parking lot is not that great, but the rainbow made up for it. Earlier, I found a dead tit (the bird I used for my name: "tit") in the garden and thought it to be a bad omen, but the rainbow probably canceled it out.
He does so, the finished set up shop. My ready-equipped shop, I still can not believe it.
The shop looks like so after it's been furnished and set-up. My shop, I still can not believe it.
very front right corner of the window you see a sock Peacock, one of the few last of his kind, he is almost a protected species because it is no longer manufactured. Dani, a dear friend gave him to me, rich with hand-knitted socks and knit fitted to promise more socks for the peacock. Dani You are a treasure without a peacock and socks.
In the shop window on the right, right at the front, you can see a Sock-Peacock, one of the very last of its kind. It is almost under the protection of species, because it is no longer in production. A good friend of mine, Dani, gave it to me as a present. It came fully dressed with all the socks and with a promise that more will be knitted socks for it. Dani, you're a darling, even without the peacock or the socks.
Continue to my meadow, over which a "sock washing line hangs. Decoration is not one of my areas of expertise and "the" missing chair threw all my deco plans into confusion. The plan was a sensational chair, for which I specially knitted a pillow. According to the manufacturer, the delivery time 10 days, unfortunately I overlooked the date, 21.08.09, from which the 10 days are counted. Now you know what is planned as of September decoration, is a sensational chair with a pillow that will hopefully be finished by then.
We'll move right along to my flower meadow, Which hangs above the clothes line full of socks. Decorating does not belong to my strength and "THE" missing chair practically knocked down my deco-plans on the head. A sensational chair as planned, with a cushion to go with it that I knitted myself. According to the manufacturer, the chair should have been delivered within 10 days. However, I overlooked the fact that the Ten Days are being counted from the 21st August 2009. Now you know what to expect for the September decoration: A splashy chair with a knitted cushion that will hopefully be finished by then.
IKEA makes it possible! This small quietschgelbe furniture is the Peacock Throne of IKEA, like so many others in my shop. I like Ikea, but not purely down to the smallest detail. What can I say, it was MUCH comes from the furniture store and I hope to own little personal touch still to bear.
IKEA to the rescue! This little yellow glaring piece of furniture is the Peacock Throne from IKEA, where as a lot of other furniture in my shop came from. I like IKEA, but not to every minute detail. What should I say? We got A LOT from this home-center and I just hope that the personal touch would still show through.
As here for example!
Like this one for example!
or this ...
to loosen up beautiful flower arrangements.
Gorgeously beautiful flower decorations to break the harsh lines.
And again with the personal touch! These images will only show that I can show no single wool shelf.

And further on with the personal touch! These pictures are the proof that I do not just have only one shelf full of yarns.
Lisa's picture, it clearly shows it's late and dark, time to say good night. Beautiful it was, the first Evening, and the following Saturday.
Lisa's picture really shows that it is late and dark: Time to say good-night. It was such a great first evening as well as the following Saturday.
This is the "Molly" department. Meanwhile, it has been found that Molly is a very "relaxed" girl. To entangle A request to all the Molly: Knit a swatch and wash them before taking measurements. Molly developed its full size until after the wash.
This is the "Molly" department. In the meantime, we have found out that Molly is a very "relaxed" kind of girl. So a friendly advice to all those who want to knit up Molly: Make a gauge swatch and wash it before taking the measurement gauge. Molly develops her full potential, ie her real gauge after the washing.
No party without treats. Speaking of treats, I hope it was!
The comment of one men pointed tongue to the antipasti buffet was:
"I did not know that the nursery provides Scheyrer now buffets"
Admittedly, the antipasti vegetables very heavy, or how can you express something. Dear Steff, I also introduced her to something else.
It's not a party without food. And speaking of food, I hope that it really was a treat! The comment from a gourmet tongue from the guys about the antipasti buffet was: "I did not even know that the Schreyer Garden Nursery now so does buffet." Admittedly, the antipasti buffet was ladened with vegetable, or should one say otherwise. Dear Steff, I was thinking of something else myself when it comes to the buffet.
vitamins harm but in no way, say all had the appetite and still hold back!
You are surely asking you "what a party without people in the pictures?".
I avoid pictures to show my guests because I have permission before each individual must ask you to understand this determined
The next picture I show simply to have asked without permission. On the left you can see from Frank BueroWK .
Frank did all the pictures shown so far and Mary, his partner, entwarf unser Logo und auch unsere Papiertüten, Geschenkgutschein etc.
Vitamins never hurt anybody, that's what all those who was hungry said and they went for the buffet anyway!
You're probably asking yourself: "What kind of a party is this without any people on the pictures at all?" I try to avoid showing pictures of my guests, because I would have to ask each and every one of them for permission to post their photos here. Surely, you can understand this.
However, I will show you at least the next picture without even having asked for the permission. On the left is Frank from BueroWK .
Frank shot all the photos that are shown here and Mary, his partner, designed our logo as well as our paper bags, vouchers, etc.
Lisa mean little or no knitting daughter, the party tried to hold in the picture. Unfortunately, their shots were too dark or too blurry. I'm glad that Lisa took a picture of Anne's loan, the peacocks cloth. Anne is Arlene's World of Lace designs and beautiful lace pattern, such as their Ammonite Wrap .
Lisa, my non-knitting, or my knitting-just-a-bit daughter also tried to capture some of the party atmospheres on camera. However, her pictures turned out to be either too dark or blurry. However, I'm glad that Lisa could capture a picture of the Pretty As A Peacock shawl that was on loan from Anne. Anne is Arlene's World of Lace and she designs some very superb lace patterns examined as her Ammonite Stole for example.
