Is It Gay To Wear A Jockstrap

Mobius made easy?

"The Möbius Loop"! Puzzle comparable with reverse parking strips or cut to Stuck fermentation. Consider it as a small practice of kinesiology figure eight, which we certainly do well (maybe at the next parking spot?).
to waste unnecessary time and rope to get a feel for what's at stake, you can cut out a long, narrow strips of paper and glue together with a twist. If you move a pencil along the edge you can see where are start, finish and infinity.
one malt middle with the pen that line, these are the first indications of a Moebius knitting.
Mittlerweile bekam ich hilfreiche Mails mit Internetadressen und Buchtiteln, die dieses Thema bestens veranschaulichen.

"The Moebius Loop"! A mental exercise comparable to parking your car in reverse or cutting up stucco that fits. Let's observe this as a small kinesiological exercise in our mental dexterity with the infinity sign that would do us some good (perhaps when we come across the next parking spot?).
In order to not waste any of the knitting time and in order to get the first idea of what it's all about, you can cut out a long strip of paper and glue the ends together with a twist in the strip. Trace a line with a pen along one side from the starting point to the end point and then you can see the infinity of the line.
If you place this line in the middle of the strip, then this would represent the first steps in the Moebius. In the meantime, I have been getting a lot of helpful books and mails with URLs that has a good grip on this topic.

Great pictures, great explanation. The attack will be but slightly different knits. This stop edge is at right / left patterns substantially "invisible" as my version
(in German) A knitting forum with great pictures and good explanations. The CO is knit up a bit differently. The edge of this CO is very "invisible" when used with ribbing pattern than my version of CO.

rich Actually these addresses, it can be better not demonstrate and explain. My paintings are made from the stop, so I would also like to contribute my little bit of it.

Actually these addresses should suffice. You can not get any better than that. My pictures for the CO is pretty easy to make and I would like to contribute Thus Topic:

Here the pure unbemaschte framework. Later, after the attack, the extra-long circular needle (120cm) double in the package are. This is desired and willed, not afraid!

Here is the pure un-cast-on skleton. After the CO, the long circ (120 cm) were will lie with a double loops as though it still in the package. That's how we actually want it! Do not be afraid!

to make the stop on both needles to a loose fence row to get. This helps to hold the new mesh. How do you measure the length of the stop thread? No idea, by feel, at least veeeery long!

cast on over two needles So that it will not be too tight. This will help when you're trying to knit or increase the stitches. How do you measure the length of the cast-on tail? No idea, do it by feel ... very loooooong at any rate!

The attack is the extent to close the round. Please pay attention to the fact that no rotation is present. It works just like if you want to include cuffs. The difference this ........

The CO should be big enough to close a round. Just watch out that the stitches align properly and there is not any twist. It's just like joining to knit in the round. The difference is ....

.... we do not start to knit, but get out of the fixed stop edge with our working thread a new stitch. It is much easier if the stop edge of the left needle back a little push on the plastic rope. The new mesh will produce exactly the distance between the stop mesh fetched. Perfect, we must include not only ever take a lot of new stitches.

... that we do not begin knitting, yarn but we're going to pick up new stitches from the edge of the CO with the working end of the. It's a lot easier if you slide the CO edge on the left needle back on to the cable. The new stitches will be Increased by picking up and knitting the working yarn from the CO stitches in between (like in Cable CO). We do not really have to count ... just keep picking up endless new stitches.

Slowly we see the "magic trick" when all the new stitches are added, we find ourselves back at the beginning and the needle is now double.
The next image It shows exactly in detail, even my wonderful beautiful stitch markers.
It should necessarily a stitch markers are set to find the beginning and end of a round.

Slowly, you will be able to recognizes the "magic". When you finish picking up stitches, you'll end up at the starting point and the needle will lay with a double loop over each other. The next picture shows you the detail clearer and even with my pretty stitch markers. At this point, you should really put in a stitch marker So that you'll be able to see the beginning and end of the round.

The anchor is ready to knit
Done!

The CO is now ready to be knit! Yay!

show to relax and a little amusement you I have my last awful nice wool socks. Mary, of www.craftlinks.net , saved me at our last meeting with this wool donation. I was actually still in the wool, and - reluctantly - nibbling nails - uneasy teetering on the chair - I watched as all the other knitting. This picture must have been pathetic and pitiable, so let me dip into their Opalkiste Maria. Blind I groped for the ball by not taking her best and that was the result.

For relaxation and a little amusement, I'm going to show you my last socks from the pretty yarn. Maria from www.craftlinks.net came to my rescue with this wool donation at our last meeting. I actually ran out of yarn and I had to watch the others knit on while I gritted my teeth, bit my fingernails and just tethering on my seat. That must have been such a pitiful sight and so Maria let me into her Opal box. I grobed around blindly for a skein so that I don't end up taking her prettiest one and this was the result:

Die Farben erinnern stark an die Olympiade 1972 in München. Das Maskottchen, ein Dackel, trug sie.

The colours remind me most of the Olympic Games from 1972 here in Munich. The mascot, a dachshun wore those colors.

The German team was also a spring-like pastel such as dachshunds dressed and at each pole or at any subway station, curled these colors. Maybe the trash, I do not remember.

The German team was dressed up in spring pastel colors just as good as the dog and the roof colors. Even the light poles and the tube stations are donned in these colors. So maybe they were on the trash bins ... I can not remember anymore.

zwangsentfremdeten time my friends and I all right Gartenmäuerchen, as is the gate of the paddock to the balance beam miracle Nadja emulate. What was probably of this girl?

I and my friends were using various low garden walls as well as gates to the horse paddocks as balance beams to the fabulous immitate Nadja. I wonder what has become of this girl?
